concept
From his 16th until his 21st Frank Abagnale Jr. posed as airline pilot, lawyer and pediatrician. ‘The truth lies the middle’ tells his story and its adaptation to cinema. The project consists of four portraits in which Frank Abagnale Jr. gradually morphs into Leonardo DiCaprio, the actor who played his part in ‘Catch me if you can’, juxtaposed to four texts that tell about the construction, loss and mediation of identity.
